Well that time has come once again time for a new Pc.
This is *** l have got..
Intel Core 2 DUO LGA775 E6600 2.40GHz Retail
Abit AB9 Pro
2GB GeIL PC2-6400C4 DDR2 Dual Channel Kit
BFG GeForce 8800 GTS OC 320MB GDDR3 HDTV/Dual DVI (PCI-Express)
Western Digital Raptor HD SATA x 2
Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium
Creative sound blaster XI fi
Now *** is the best way to configure this system up.
I want to have one drive for my windows install and the other drive to dump all my saved files / work on it.
At the moment all l have done is built the system up, using the default settings in the bios which l have already flashed to the newst bios release.
Placed the ram into the orange sections on the board.(Should l stick with spd mem timings or can someone surrgest on *** to use)
Ive only got one HD on at the moment (want to waite until system is fully running before installing this drive)
which is in sata1 the other drive will be pluged into sata2 (But not running any raid configuartion)
Any help would be a massive help
