Point and click detective type games

just a quick not to anyone reading this thread broken sword 4 the angel of death does not work on tricore/quad core/hexacore cpu's

there is no workaround for it except to disable your extra cors via bios or gigabytes unlocking tool

Was going to say Blade Runner, still have an old boxed copy floating around somewhere. Tempted to see if it plays on Win7.

Not a detective game as such, more an adventure but my favourite is "BloodNet" on the Amiga. I was totally hooked at the time.

They ought to bring it out for the iPhone.

The only point and click games I have really enjoyed and completed more than once just for the fun were.

Ace Ventura

The Neverhood.

Both not very serious but you will lough a lot.

Under a killing moon. (Tex Murphy)..........this is a very old game but was one of the first i came across that used the real movie action in the game, e.g all the characters you see and talk to are actors with computer graphics as the surroundings - the game itself is a point and click detective game, based in a futuristic city. Awesome game when i played it, but i was like 12 at the time. I can imagine it still being pretty good if you like the genre.

Another decent game is Black Dahlia - again another real movie type game with comptuter graphic scenes. It was based on Jack the ripper murders in London in the old days. Its very in depth game, with some very hard puzzles! Came on about 5 disks if i recall, but would still be fun today due to the timeless graphics!

Try those 2!

5 Days a Strange & 7 days a Skeptic are good.

Sam and Max obviously, should be on Steam.
