You forgot Day of the tentacle. Basically, just look for all the old Lucas Arts classics.
 
Syberia 1 + 2 - pinnacles at the moment
Myst series
Monkey Island series as mentioned
Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis
The Longest Journey - FANTASTIC and reaaaaallllyyyy long

Out of them though - Syberia 1 stands out as THE best adventure game since the old Lucasarts. The Longest Journey comes a very close second for it's fantasticly epic story.
 
Ive just finished playing Syberia and Syberia 2 and they are excellent games...albeit a little short.Just started playing the longest journey which up to now is very good ;)
 
I agree with the Broken Sword & Monkey Island suggestions; if you like these see if you can find a copy of Lure of the Temptress.
However, I have to admit that Myst V (The only one I have played) is easily the worst game I have ever tried. Yes, it looks nice but all it has is one irritating puzzle after another, and no variation in the storyline or scope for deviation. Still, you might like it ;)

Broken sword 1 and 2 are the best games ive ever played, the puzzles are great and so are the storylines. I played them on the ps1 when io was at secondary school and couldnt wait to get home to solve a puzzle i was stuck on. A shame BS3 was so pants, im hoping the new one will be better.

Legend of Enchatica (I think is the name - Amiga)
Broken Sword 1 and 2 (BS1 is one of the finest examples of game making EVER!)

Discworld 1 and 2 (Eric Idle = God. Noir was pants).

Those are the only ones I can personally recommend that come to mind.
 
You can make your own with that Lucas Arts ploint and click adventure maker.. Same stuff they used to make sam and max etc.. And its free. Ill host it later if you cant find a copy.
