Point n Click

Grim Fandango was not a Point and Click, you used the keyboard.

Monkey Island 1 and 2 (the rest werent' as good)
Day of the Tentacle
Sam and Max hit the road
Beneath a Steel Sky
Legend of Kyrandia (I think is the name - Amiga)
Legend of Enchatica (I think is the name - Amiga)
Broken Sword 1 and 2 (BS1 is one of the finest examples of game making EVER!)
The Dig
Full Throttle
The Longest Journey
Discworld 1 and 2 (Eric Idle = God. Noir was pants).

Those are the only ones I can personally recommend that come to mind.

Heh, you're just being anal :p Grim Fandango is still pretty much a point and click game underneath... just you point Manny at an object with the keyboard and then push a button :p

As what NokkunWud said, pretty much any LucasArts point and click game before Monkey Island 3 was fantastic, although The Dig wasn't the best game in the world, it was still very well made.

You can make your own with that Lucas Arts ploint and click adventure maker.. Same stuff they used to make sam and max etc.. And its free. Ill host it later if you cant find a copy.

Hmmm Lucasarts adventures were made using the proprietary SCUMM scripting language. AFAIK, SCUMM isn't available ANYWHERE to download. And supposodly it is extremely difficult to code in.

Unless you're referring to Adventure Game Studio (http://www.adventuregamestudio.co.uk/). In which you can make Lucasarts and Sierra type adventures? But obviously it isn't the same program that created the original Lucasarts.

Dont forget Westwoods Blade Runner. On 4CDs or 1 DVD (hard to find now).

Very good point n clicker with some of the most atmospheric 2d gfx ever and multiple story paths & endings.

Even if your not a fan of the movie this is still good stuff.

If you can find it the neverhood is a good point and click from dreamworks, works on xp fine, the whole world is made of clay, and the style is quite unique. Puzzles are easy enough not to be irritating, but still present a challenge. This seems to be quite unappreciated as a point n click, find it and play it, you'll love it.
