points on license

wow.. he's going to pay more for insurance on a 1.1 fiesta then i'd pay on an evo IX FQ380 with ***!!!

hope his mums a doctor or something so he can add her to his insurance (my m8 rupert did that only his mums a magistrate hence his first car being a porche)

additional and off topic - my friend's just tried getting an insuanace quote from the AA and said:

"I just tried to get a quote online and was not impressed when it refused to believe I could have a part time job, failed to store where I heard about them from each time and then at the end told me I'd taken too long and the session had timed out so I've no idea how cheap they are"

Will he have to take an extended test? Im thinking he would be the ideal candidate for one. I certainly dont want him on the roads, there are enough idiots already

I thought that even if you had a provisional license, it still got taken away if you got 6 points?! IMO, just tell him not to drive. Somehow i don't think the £4000 insurance cost will keep him off the road as he obviously isn't worried about getting points on license or trouble with polizei!

He's got 8 points before he's even passed his test.
This shows numerous things - he is a menace, he shouldn't be allowed on our roads etc.
However it also shows that he doesn't really care about anything, I mean getting 8 points is quite impressive.
So do you honestly think the fact that if/when he passes his test the fact that insurance is going to be so high is actually going to stop him hitting the road?
His next producer will net him less points - because he'll at least have a license and who knows, his car might even have an MOT but if his insurance quote was too high I doubt he'll bother getting any.

I thought you couldn't even learn to drive with that amount of points!!!

thought you had to wait a few years until the points were taken off to even have a provisional license

Guees not then
