Pokemon DS USA questions

I am going to the grand ol' usa on monday and i want to buy the pokemon games for my 2 cousins.

1. they have got uk ds's but im sure that the games will work as they are region free

2. will they be able to trade pokemon with each other?

3. will they be able to trade pokemon with other people who have the UK version?

1. Yes it will work I've got the USA Version

2. They will be able to trade pokemon with each other, But they won't be able to use their UK GBA pokemon carts with the USA Version of Diamond/Pearl so I've heard anyway.

3. Not sure I can't see why not but someone should know

i had the US version of ruby on GBA. i havnt tried using it with a UK version to link with so cant comment on that.

3.Think so, buty I didnt try and trade with a UK version so cant comment. i think in the manual it only warns of trading between different languagesl.

Nope, UK GBA carts work perfectly fine with US versions of Diamond/Pearl.

The answer to all three questions is just yes, plain and simple.

either way the OP will get:

A: A game that as usual, isnt even in the UK yet
B: Get the game at a much fairer price.
