Pokemon X and Y - 3DS - Oct 2013

I have a pre-order of this with a blue x/y 3DSXL. Can't wait, haven't played pokemon since the original red/blue!
 
Now the bad news, you cant transfer your old pokemon across until at least December 27th and you'll have to hope they offer us a free trial, otherwise its $5 a year for a cloud based pokemon app that allows you to move pokemon from Black/W to X&Y.

Think I nip into my local game store on release and pick up both up.

I got my two girls red and blue and now I cant decide what colour I want. both look amazing. Was dead cert on red but blue is winning me over

Tesco Direct. There site has messed up and says the release date is the 1st Septemeber and has 'Next day dispatch' next to it so I'm hoping the dispatch it tomorrow. Also happy as it's the cheapest I've found it at 29.99 with a new account code.
 
I wish they would stop adding more new pokemon every generation they seem less like the original. Put the original 150 pokemon (or was it 151?) next to the new ones and you wouldn't think they're both from pokemon.
 
So, anyone care to run me through how online works? will be able to fight each other?? I have never played a MP Battle on pokémon :P In fact, I am not even sure my last pokemon game (heart gold) had a MP mode!
 
Just Preordered X. I just like the look of the X's Mewtwo, the fairy deer looks a bit dull though. Y's legendary looks rather menacing.
