Just been in a tournament at PP and the following happened

After the river there are 3 players left in

I am first to act and bet 600

Next player goes all in 694

Player 3 calls 694

When it comes back to me I only have the option to call the extra 94 or to fold

Why did I not have the option to re raise ?

True. Ive never played it for money, but i always played it as if one person goes all in then all raising stops, but i do know what you mean, and it should have been done really.

others can raise beyond an all in and create a side pot ( or multiple side pots )

Ah, a poker thread. Yummy.

OK. There is no glitch. The software is working fine. Because the small-stack's all-in raise was an under-raise (less than the amount you bet) you are not given the option to reraise because it would be unfair to any other players in the pot. The ONLY time you can under-raise is when you are throwing your last few chips in the pot. Normally a raise has to be at least what what bet or raised earlier on that circuit of betting.

.

I had thought of that as the only possibility, I have never come across this but then that is probably just due to the situation never having occurred before ( or at least one in which I wanted to re raise )

I think you are correct in what you say but it seems little known, no one at the table last night seemed to understand this
