Poles, Polish workers.

My workplace has just got 20 poles in, they have come from a local agency and they flew them over and put them up in a house 10 in a house and its pretty crazy really, they came over and where working the next day, shocking to see that this country has to go to such lengths to get people to work, while all the scum on the dole living off OUR taxes do nothing, I must admit the poles are very nice and the woman are bloody fit, but from a town that’s not really known for its foreign workers and if its like this here what’s it like in other parts of the country.

They said that working in England for 6 months is like working in Poland for 2 year, money wise.

This country, shambles.

Yeah, they came from an Agency and they are working for Asda, they are all around 20-25, the women are hwat and I wouldnt mind a pop, might have to take them round Wigan for a few jars

Yeah this polish woman used to work in a pru i went to, she worked as a TA and also said something along them lines.

Plus their fudge is amazing.

That or by 'workplace' he means "disease ridden sewer, AIDS needle warehouse or toxic waste repository" and there is genuinely a shortage of willing staff...

the trouble is the people on the dool are too lazy and the government does nothing about it....if the doll wasn't here then they would have to get a job pure and simple !

Doubt it as they are taking on people from this country who are local, only think I can think of is there wage must be so cheap compared to say £900 a month to Uk workers.

My mum works for the Hilton and has told me that they regularly deal with agencies over there (people go out) to recruit Poles specifically.

Surely the minimum legal wage applies to everyone? Imagine the outcry if certains groups were excluded and paid less.

This is all about filling the gaps of lazy English people.

So true, I drive to work and pass atleast 20 girls with prams and lads with tracksuits on at mid da with a can of carling in the hand, utter scum, would rather live off £50 a week and deal drugs or nick stuff than work 40 hours a week and get £900.

£250 of my wage goes to them, and I cant even get to see a dentist. :mad: :mad: :mad:

Notice a few polish woman in KFC aswell in town.
 
nice, frendly, hard working people.
tbh, why don't we send our dole scroungers off to poland to work on their farms!

The poles seems fine to me, we have one or two about here and they always seemed to be keen workers.

The ones i cant stand are from latvia and a few others place i cant mind.

Or certain gaps that are too low paid for English workers to consider?

The bus firms don't offer a great deal and they've been short of drivers for years now, do the wages increase to attract more people in? No, and where is the incentive now when they know they can fly a plane full of Poles in who think the pay is excellent?
 
One thing I've noticed though is that because the poles are white they don't get nearly half the stick they would get if they were black. If it was Algerians or palestinians or something like that that were coming over and filling up all the crap jobs people would be outraged at how these foreigners were coming over and stealing our jobs.


Oh, and I agree. Polish girls are fit.

There are 962,000 people claiming jobseekers allowance.

There are 608,000 vacancies

Last time I checked the amount of JSA was pretty poor.

Lazy must be a good option for some if we're having to recruit abroad. Bus drivers for instance can earn good money if they hit the overtime.
 
Not really adding anything of massive substance to the thread, but just thought i'd chip in by saying we had a Polish woman working at my works on a 3 month contract and was pretty much the most productive person there. Polite and hardworking is great, oh and as the others have said, fap, fap, fappity fine! That's the kind of immigrant i like! :D ;)
