same officer, 2 very very bad results...

1, 125mph chasing a m3, a lorry moves across 3 lanes into the side of him... :confused:

2, 115mph blow out... controlled the initial blow out, but spun avoiding other cars.


scary stuff... any other good clips you guys can find? :)
 
I think he needs some training or to slow down lol. "i dont like driving on the chevrons as there is a lot of rubbish on them" Then 30 secons later he is driving at 115mph past rush hour traffic?

Fair do's he had managed to miss the traffic but that very easily could have killed a family in a car. I fail to see why a possible plane crash should warrent putting rush hour traffic in such danger :confused:

First one is at least partially his fault. The lorry driver isn't expecting cars coming at 130mph behind him.
 
Should have had his blues and siren on in number 1, number two is impressive though, thats one mighty fast blowout and appart from a spin i dont think you could have slowed it down better.

He is not allowed in lane 3.

It is law IIRC.

Copper was not at fault.

The stupid **** in the lorry was for lack of checking mirrors, missing the fact lane 3 ends soon according to the signs (apparently) and not being allowed in there.

2nd clip... 120 was abit excessive, 100 would have been ok I guess as they are trained speed drivers...

What exactly are they going to do if they get there first, they're not exactly medics are they?

First 1, yes lorry driver may not have looked and shouldn't have moved over into lane 3 but I still don't see why he didn't have his blue lights and sounds on when he's travelling along at 120mph, at that speed he's covering around 60 yards every second. Also where the accident happened it was a sweeping left hand bend so doubt the lorry would have got a good view of him even if he looked.

Traffic have substantial first aid training iirc.


Yesterday I was first on scene at a house fire, should I not have bothered as I'm not a fireman?

Its not as if speeds of 100-120mph are that uncommon on the motorway :\ If youre moving into that third lane... you certainly pay attention to whats coming!
 
The lorry shouldn't of been in lane 3, but surely at those speeds it's best to put the siren/blue lights on anyway to give people a helping hand at spotting a car coming up doing 130mph!!!

and because its a curve his mirrors are blocked by the trailer. The officer shouldn't have assumed anything... some people are idiots on the road and do the wierdest things...

First one with the HGV is not all the HGVs fault, the police car is coming up doing double his speed and if you watch on the corner you can not see the HGVs drivers mirror which means the HGV isn't going to see the police car. Yes he should have not been in lane 3 but the police car should have taking in to account the visibility issues that face a HGV driver. I also thought that the Volvo didn't slow down very quickly either.
