Police problem!

well, I did a slightly dodgy overtaking manouvre (3 cars accross job) and one of the oncoming cars was a cop car.

I drove along and at the end of the road there is a roundabout, as I pass the cop car, i get a good few hundered metres down the road (60mph) I see the cop car in the distance turn the blues on and Turn in the road.

At the roundabout I turn left and he goes straight, he was never close to me at any point.

Is this classed as running away from the police?
what can they dop
 
lol.. ya will probs be fine mate

i know of a good few lads who have done this kinda thing..

if ya unlucky he will have gotten ya plate... but around here if that happend the police would have been knocking on the door asking for the driver of the car.
 
Maybe they just happened to get a call at that point? :p

They didn't stop you so forget about it, you were hardly evading them, they just didn't see which way you went :o
 
You could just be being paranoid, but that aside there isn't really anything they could do, its not like they can read your mind and tell you did that on purpose. They didn't come up behind you and flash you to pull over then think no more about it.

the car behind had to move over slightly, and i was caning it as soon as i got out of the 30

Well you will probaly get away with the police thing yes, but will you get away with your life next time.....

Just take it easy mate, for your sake and other peoples around you, not to mention yours and there family.

edit- Just looked in your profile, theres to many dead 18 y.o's already be carfull. Also rmember its easy to get baned if you been driving less that 2 years too.
 
If he'd have wanted you, he'd have had you so don't worry about it. Maybe next time don't pull any "dodgy overtaking"? ;)

i drive kinda offensive when its just me in the car :(
 
I know this is wrong but i have in the past booted it when a cop car suddenly turns around or magically appears after i do something naughty.

More than likely i was just being paranoid but better safe than sorry LOL.

I like the way you said any car.... what was it 4 motobikes, an mpv, 6 boats, 3 tractors and a jump jet?
 
I drive an mpv and focus sized hatchback on a regular basis too.
There is nothing more frustrating than doing 40 in a 60 stuck behind a granny.

Eating through a starw or not being able to walk would come a close 2nd and 3rd I guess, but your probally rite.
 
I either read on here or one of my friends told me about someone who was going warp 9 and saw the blues flashing a distance behind, but knew they were coming for him. So he drove down a few random roads, parked the car, popped the boot and start polishing it. Apparently the police went right past without stopping.
