Yeah I like them. Pickled chillies are awesome.

Don't agree with "the hotter the better" though as I like to taste the other ingredients as well, I prefer a chilli that is hot but not overpowering, or if it is very hot it shouldn't burn your mouth for the next 10 minutes.

Yes, had to have an extra hot phall tonight as I lost a game of spoof. Finished it and wasn't to bad. However hour later feels like my stomach lining is melting.

No, partly because I don't subscribe to the whole "destroy the taste of your food to look hard" side of things...

Even on here I always question why we have a specific chilli growing thread, other than to pretend we're so masculine...

It doesn't destroy taste, chill is also have a great flavour of their own and of course the heat releases endorphins. If you have a very hot curry and it doesn't taste if anything, then its a rubbish curry. The phall I had last night all though a lost game of spoof and extra heat added had an amazing taste.
However my pee does sting this morning, or maybe it's still on thanes one or the other.

As for the grow thread, a lot of people like chill is and want to grow them, they aren't avilable in supermarkets like other ingredients, or should I say yu only get the choice of about 2. They also aren't the easiest to grow over here. The naga morich I'm growing is I want to make a curry from my local curry house. Which is super hot, butomg it tastes great. But just like everything else like. Cars or gadgets of course there's a bit of machoness about it.
