Might buy it if I hear they haven't actually ruined it. I'm in no rush to buy it anyway, got plenty of other things to be playing anyway :p

Don't get me wrong I really like MW 1. But that does not mean it follows a very generic gameplay genre. You are in First Person View you have a gun you go to tasks A, B + C then you find out you now need to do D. Mission Complete do it again in a different setting.

There was no ground breaking, Magic waving, Breath taking ideas in any of the COD's. Doesnt make it a bad game. Just generic.

I agree the MP thing was pretty crappy to PC owners. But meh I've never really got into MP on COD anyways.

Well, what else were you expecting ?

Considering it is a FPS and they have to base the game on the consoles 5 year old tech there is only so much they can do.

It's very harsh to call one of the most popular games generic.

What other genres aren't generic with their gameplay ?

Anyway, the overall point is considering it is one of the biggest sellers on the pc (I think) they way the devs have disregarded a certain aspect of their customer base is shambolic and perhaps they might have the same attitude in the future.

Generic or not generic it is worrying.
 
No, I'll first download it and see what it's like, then I might buy it if I like it as I liked 4 and WaW and bought both of em...
 
No, I like mp over sp and 9v9 isnt my cup of tea, will just play my sons on 360 sp then forget about it
 
Campaign isnt long enough to warrant a purchase not when I have Borderlands, Dragon Age and UFC Undisputed.
 
I would have bought it if they were to reinstate the Dedicated Servers, however right now I'm just refusing to buy it on any platform out of principle.
 
Had it on preorder, really wanted it, but after the mess they've made of it I just can't bring myself to buy it
 
Bought it on 360 as my friends are getting it, Loving it!

soon as I've got some achievements I'll end up selling it and buying the PC version.

I was on the bandwagon of not buying it but to be honest, I've never really been bothered about dedicated servers, their are other games for this. I agree it probably needs them but I can honestly say I'm not bothered at all after playing the sp campaign.
 
6) Cancelled pre-order.

Was concerned at lack of dedicated servers for clan communities/different game types, maximum 9v9 (I usually played on larger servers), no kick support for any annoying/laggy players and delayed cheat protection with VAC. Saw enough people trying to cheat in CoD4 that got caught due to PB to make me think twice.

I'll wait and see how it goes after initial rush from release to see if I'll buy it. That and I also want to complete Fallout 3 + DLC content first.
