^^^^ Well the Xperia mini/pro have been announced, no SGS2/Sensation/iPhone 5 rival yet!
(the mini pro looks wicked btw+ it makes the Xperia play look even weaker by packing a Bravia display/720p camera etc
)
A big rumour floating around at the mo, is there is a new Xperia Play on the way

Interesting to note that it picks up GPS far quicker than a NexusS and that they note that removing the Samsung Hub apps improves battery significantly...

Yes, most P4U, CPW and O2 shops should have them.
It gets a GPS lock VERY fast, its quite neat
Its just the Social part of the hubs that drains the battery (as its syncs way too much), but you can remove that if you wish, or just not set it up
Can I just say I got the Motorola Atrix on an Orange contract (funky deals etc got it to £26 a month) and it comes with a bluetooth keyboard, mouse and the monitor/tv dock. Currently using it to surf the web and I have to admit, it god damn rocks!

Picked mine up on Wednesday.
I'm new to Android so still getting used to it but liking mine so far as well. The free kit you get with it at the moment (think it is just for May for upgrade customers?) was a nice added bonus. Only had a quick play with it hooked up to the TV but seems good at the moment but like you say it may just be the novelty.
But with having a desktop version of Firefox on the TV and a DLNA client/server on the phone to stream from my NAS I can see it getting some use at least.
The phone screen in it's own window, so you can use the keyboard to reply to texts/emails etc that come in while you are using, it is great. And yes, sad to say I downloaded angry birds to see what all the fuss was about and played it for the first time on the big screen using the mouse.
Think they need to work on the webtop performance a bit, it is more than usable but just feel it could be a bit snappier and it has some odd mini pauses now and then, and really hope they keep up development of new webapps etc for it but it has potential.
Quite like the idea of the laptop dock they do as well to sit on the desk at work but at 300 quid they can do one, might as well buy a proper netbook/laptop for that money. But if it drops in price or an alternative comes out I'd be interested.
Just had a look at the GS2 in a phone shop.
Not as big as i thought it would be being honest. I think i could probably get used to it. Didnt seem too badly made either (like the back especially).

why waste time
Just seen a couple of vids of the GS2 and now leaning towards getting that instead of the Sensation...what to do, what to do

I'm kinda heading that way. O2 do the SGS2 and I'm wondering if they'll let me cancel my contract 2 months early and get a new one with the SGS2
