Poll: Poll: Will you be ditching Ryzen 2 for Ryzen 3

The poll is pretty specific regarding upgrade from Ryzen 2 to to Ryzen 3 - what's with all the Intel talk!

I think I'll move from 2700x to the 3900x but not sure if it would be feasible to keep my x470i motherboard? I'll need to do some homework before deciding, but hopefully option 1 for me because it's the reason I switched to Ryzen in the first place - drop in CPU upgrades.

Guess there is no real info as to whether it would be worthwhile jumping from my x470 Crosshair VII to the new x570 boards yet? CH7 has been solid for me so suspect i'll stay put unless X570 has something special to warrant the jump.

Currently using an ASUS Prime A320k board with a 2400g and not sure yet if it will be compatible with the new cpu,s.. if not i might just pick up a higher spec second hand Ryzen 2 at a cheap price as im sure there will be a few on the members market

Pond is a lot more useful than some crap RGB and some ports that will likely never be used.

Bought a 2600 and MB in March with a view to upgrading but I just decided to pick up a used 2700x on here and Ill sell on the 2600 at a reasonable loss. That will see me through the next couple of years.

What was your resale price of the 2600?

Tell me what is the difference between an X570 board and an X370 board? If you are buying a 95w part, and could previously run a 105w part then we know that isn't a factor... I'm intrigued to know your thoughts.

I'll be Intrested in the new Ryzen 8/16 core/ thread chip if it plays nice in my B450 tomahawk mobo. Certainly not dropping a couple of hundred on a new motherboard. I have a few rigs 3 Intel and 1 Ryzen atm.
