Poltergeist Activity Video

Theres really nothing in any of those vids that couldn't be done with thin strings or fishing line digitally erased in an editing program. Its sort of interesting to watch but really with people with home pc's and editing software these vids are easily faked.

If you listen around the 4:02 mark you can clearly hear another audio track kicking in with the 3 knocks.:rolleyes:

People believe it because they either

a) Want it to be true so badly that they find ways to make any "evidence" fit in with it being true.

or

b) Are scientifically minded but have been convinced by trickery because they think that they can't be fooled.

I know, because I once used to believe. I'd been through a tough time with family bereavements, bullying at school and mental health issues all occurring within a short amount of time. I grabbed hold of spiritualism - I don't know why exactly. Maybe it was excitement of the unknown or for comfort. Whatever the reason, I was well and truly sold.

As time went on, my life became more stable. I got my mental health under control, went to university, got a Mathematics degree. And then, in an instant, it hit me. I saw spiritualism for what it really is. I made the connection and started applying my scientific thinking. What I saw was that I'd been the victim of both an elaborate fraud and my own naivety.

I was once a believer. I'm now a hardline sceptic.
