I'm looking at a couple of engine mount options but not sure what shore rating to go for.
Has anyone got first hand experience with using some and can give feedback? My options are 63sha or 80sha.
It's a road car, so don't want to go too rigid and ruin it.
Just to note I'm already running a light weight twin plate clutch setup so the chatter from the gearbox and clutch plates makes it sound broken already!

I don't think it's really possible to polybush any meaningful part of a car and not ruin it on the road imo, well not in any one i've ever been in! but i'd go for 63 if you've got the choice.

Yes poly mount you have no plush region where you have VERY soft mounts to not rattle the dashboard etc. It loads up and snubs to give a much stiffer bush rate on high torque demand for the engine. You cant avoid that with a a solid machined bush of plastic
