Pool Trick Shots

While some of the shots are very impressive, the early shots are really quite easy when they're set up correctly. In a lot of cases the set up is easily the hardest part of the trick shot. Still, the man has skills, and had lots of very attractive girls screaming at him, so he's doing something right.

I call schenanigans on the one where he balances two balls on top of beer glasses, and then balls on top of those balls. I think that the top two were held with wire.

I thought the amazing bogdan was better :)
Quoted for truth.

Bogdan was the man.. he did them on a REAL table ;)

I'm 100% sure the ball-balancing-on-another-ball-on-top-of-a-glass trickshot involves blu-tack of some kind.

Still....

Is true. Whilst visually impressive a lot of those are pretty easy once you have practiced setting them up to the extent where you could do it with your eyes shut. The skill is in the setup, not the execution (for most of them anyway).

The bloke who lives next door but one to me has basically got a pub at the back of his garden and inside is a pool table. His house is full of Pool Trophies but it doesn't mean that much to me.
A couple of years ago he asked me if I knew anybody who could convert video to DVD and I said that I did it.
He'd made a Pool Trick Shot video when he was about 22 with really cheesy clothes and cheesy dialogue but his skills were amazing.
Another bloke who knew him said that he could have gone on to be a world champ but blew it for a woman.
Anyway, last year, another bloke knocked on the door and said Darren (Trickshot player) had sent him round and he had just won the World 888 Pool Championships. He wanted to know if I could convert his video he had recorded off Sky Sports Extra into a DVD and could I do one for his mum.
His name was Gareth Potts and he wasn't kidding.
(It sometimes sounds like I make this crap up but i'm a bad liar).

Spot on. Very easy opening shots.
