Just got a 105mm Lee CPL filter for my recent acquired Lee system.
Some what dissapointed to see how thick the thing is.... About twice the thickness of a 95mm Contax filter I have.....
By the time it's mounted on the ring and holder it will vignette on anything slightly wide... I've already slimmed the holder down to one slot...

Any other 105mm CPLs about that are slim in design ?

Is the 105 cpl the one that fits on the front of the Lee system ?

If so make sure you're not also using a UV Filter of something on the lens.
 
Thanks for the links and feedback... Yes for sure I've taken the UV off first... and slimmed down to one slot......
Options look like putting back on ebay (it's second hand and mint, so no complaints there) and get the Heliopan.

OR perhaps look at the Lee push on holder to use just with the CPL....for my 95 and 82mm lenses... I have screw in CPL's for them, but was trying to cut down the swapping back and forth by using the Lee system for everything....

OR ... use the square version and rotate the holder.... meaning you can't use a ND Grad as well.

I've got the Heliopan + 1 slot, never noticed any vignetting problems at the wide end but I rarely use CPL at wide angles anyway as the effect is not uniform across the frame.
 
It's going to depend on size of the lens diameter.... I know I'll always struggle with the 95mm 17-35, but my 24-85 also has a 82mm thread and vignettes with the Lee version.

Anyway, won a 100mm square Lee CPL this morning, so that can slide in the first slot, just means can't use it with a Grad, which perhaps is unlikely anyway......
Possibly will put the 105 CPL back on the bay..... Will experiment when the sun comes out.....
 
Probably a silly question but are you using the (metal) wide angle adapter rings? They are a lot slimmer than the plastic standard adapter rings
 
My square CPL arrived today, looks mint. So should help my problem...

See picture below of the problem with the 105mm circular version on my 82mm wide angle adaptor attached to the 24-85mm
