Poor Ron Paul getting ignored by main stream media

Hahaha never heard such rubbish in my entire life.

He has already been voted on CCN and Fox Polls higher then all other candidates, including Obama.

Clearly he isn't out of touch, ever thought that you might be?

Is that the same Fox channel who won the legal right to not tell the truth when reporting news? That is, to intentionally lie and report that lie as fact?

Also, I'm not going to get in to this with you because it's clear you have a huge hard on for the guy so good luck with that.

For serious!? Got any source on that? :) (or maybe :()

Lol Latex'Dog is going to be hoiking around a serious bag of disappoint come election season.

Isn't Ron Paul some kind of drag queen?

The more interesting question is why the OP thinks anyone on here will actually care about US politics.

The 'American' media do not like Ron Paul's common sense ideas, in particular his beliefs against the global fiat fraud currency system and those who control it.

I'd hope that the elections in quite a few countries would interest people in the UK :\. Elections in places such as America, France, Germany, and so forth, are important.
I disagree, elections in this country aren't even important.

Yeah I know they are. LateX'Dog just doesn't shut up about Ron Paul though so I'd like to know why he'd be such a great president.

Not to hand but I think they won it in counrt in 2001. I'll have a look when I get some time.

I also see that he recently was second best to Michele Bachmann who went on TV and claimed "I'm not a witch". Think about that for a second. He is second best in the public's eyes than that big old bag of crazy.

The Ames Straw Poll is a presidential straw poll taken by Iowa Republicans. It occurs in Ames, Iowa, on a Saturday in August of years in an election cycle in which the Republican presidential nomination seems to be undecided (that is, in years without an incumbent Republican President running for re-election). Because it draws many voters from all over the state, the Ames Straw Poll is by far the most prominent of the several straw polls held in Iowa. Thus it is also commonly known as the Iowa Straw Poll. It was first held in 1979.

The 2011 Ames Straw Poll winner was Minnesota Rep. Michele Bachmann, who led ten-term Texas Rep. Ron Paul by less than one percent.[1] It occurred on August 13, 2011 at the Hilton Coliseum on the campus of Iowa State University. [2]

Tell me do you really think it matters who is the "president" do you honestly think that one man DECIDES whether country will be prosperous or will decent into chaos?

They all say different stuff but in the end do who every other person would do in their place. I am talking about major choices.

Do you think he gets into power and suddenly you get a burst of money flowing into USA, you think he will handle recovery better, peg USD to gold and wohoo world is saved? (edit: don't mean peg, mean back up buck with gold)

It does not matter who is smiling at us on the TV.

But is that because nothing changes?

What if a candidate stepped forward and was vastly different from the status quo?
This country couldn't even vote in the alternative vote system anything vastly different would fall flat on it's arse.

it always bugged me, why that vote failed, isn't av system better and is used to elect candidates within parties both labour and conservatives(who were so against it)

He would bring all American troops home

He has an 83% voting record in favor of free trade in the House of Representatives

He believes that the foreign policy of America is the reason behind there targeted terrorism.

He believes the size of federal government must be decreased substantially.

He would completely eliminate the income tax

He has signed a pledge not to raise taxes or create new taxes, given by Americans for Tax Freedom.

He would get rid of the IRS

I could go on more, but I'm off to bed ;)
