I've been experiencing pretty bad slowdown on my machine when upgrading or installing games. I've run CrystalDiskMark 5.2.2 and i'm getting the following results.
Seq Q32T1: Read 469MBs, Write 306MBs
4K Q32T1: Read 37MBs, Write 18MBs
Seq: Read 447MBs, Write 329MBs
4K: Read 14MBs, Write 16MBs
(System Specs - Win10, Skylake i5 6600, 16GB DDR4, Gigabyte Z170-XP SLI, SanDisk SataIII 128GB).
I've flashed the BIOS on my motherboard and done a full OS reload and it hasn't made any difference to the 4K performance. SANdisk tools report normal operation. From what i can see all SATA ports on the motherboard are 6GBs. Can someone confirm that those figures don't look right for 4K read/write performance? Any suggestions on how to resolve?
