Recently got an O2 connection (8mb) - flat choice not my own.
It activated on friday and although it works it seems to crawl along 24/7. Speed tests look impressive with it ranging between 6-12mbps. But they all fail due to timeout on the upload test and uploading any 0.5mb document on hotmail will just hang forever.
Is it possible that a poor upload is completely crippling the line? Here are the stats:
Uptime: 0 days, 0:47:33
DSL Type: G.992.5 annex A
Bandwidth (Up/Down) [kbps/kbps]: 1,321 / 17,043
Data Transferred (Sent/Received) [kB/kB]: 0.00 / 0.00
Output Power (Up/Down) [dBm]: 12.0 / 18.0
Line Attenuation (Up/Down) [dB]: 16.0 / 31.0
SN Margin (Up/Down) [dB]: 6.5 / 6.5
Vendor ID (Local/Remote): TMMB / BDCM
Loss of Framing (Local/Remote): 0 / 0
Loss of Signal (Local/Remote): 0 / 0
Loss of Power (Local/Remote): 0 / 0
Loss of Link (Remote): 0
Error Seconds (Local/Remote): 0 / 0
FEC Errors (Up/Down): 0 / 4,279
CRC Errors (Up/Down): 0 / 5
HEC Errors (Up/Down): 48 / 4
Thanks for any suggestions. I dont think there is anyone using torrents..etc and it has always been like
