Have two of these drives and one is showing the following in hdtune, any ideas?

Is that a repeatable result? I've seen similar due to other processes accessing the disk but also due to problem areas on the disk.

I'd start by getting Samsung's diagnostic program and running that.

in hdtune do a full error scan and also check the smart info in the health tab.
i usually get a dip like that if the drive im scanning is my main OS drive. any slave attached drive does not show that kind of dip.

best way to scan is use a boot cd like erd commander and run hdtune from there.
