Ahhhhh.....

Well.....

Yes.....

As the better GPU wu's have now returned (which use a bit more lectric) my lectric usage is currently sitting at about 67p per hour.

Now I don't know about the rest of you but even for me it's a wee bit high.....so I'm not going to be able to keep this performance level up for long (perhaps a week or so).

Time to consider switching a few of the GPU rigs to the 'Not On' position.......try and get my lectric usage down to a more manageable level :D

Should sell them mate, and consolidate into a few less rigs with perhaps less but more powerful gpus. Even a third quad cpu rig would be less power.

BTW at 2mil you will 11th in the world for PPD :D  :p

Nice one!

Aye.....

Hopefully, I'll pick up some better wu's on the new rig and bump my ppd by another 300k :D

And just think...... GPU QRB's shouldn't be too far off ;)

Can't remember whats in what now, but I got:

Intel 4P
AMD 4P
i7 990x
i7 3770k (2 off)
i7 2600k (2 off)
570 Classified (2 off)
570 (2 off)
480 (1 off)
660 Ti (9 off)
680 (4 off)

And two low end CPU's to run four of the 660's

I was pleasantly surprised myself - it's a lot more stable in there than the AMD rig.

A lot more mounting screws to secure it (just be careful as you've got to be precise when drilling the extra's).

Plus, the CPU's aren't up at the top of the case so they are where the available mounting screws are (more stability).

All the extra fans (except the big one on the side panel) are Scythe 1900rpm's and it's actually pretty quiet :)

Air flow though the case is exceptional if I do say so myself :D

One more thing....

If you do put it in the Elysium - don't forget to bend the tab back just above the access cut out to (the one to access the back of a normal motherboard where the cpu should be) - it's the only photo I didn't take.

Looks nice, what are the temps like?

No idea - running Ubuntu Server 12.04 command line based (which I particularly dislike) - so no idea how to check......

Gonna do a fresh install when I get chance as I buggered the installation of the Gnome Desktop and it keeps trying (but failing) to run it on every boot up.

I need to do something with my AMD rig too - I've noticed it takes virtually an hour to get a new work unit every time it finishes a Bigadv (must be a fault with Lagouste) - at first I thought it was a one off but it happens every time.

Erm....Biffa....

Care to enlighten us on what Titan is?

Wee Beastie with Titan upgrades by any chance?

Or the new Intel 4P?

Or are we just gonna have to wait?

Just testing one of the Titans on Folding :)

Have to let it connect to that machine from the HFM rig via the window firewall, I'll pop down and do that now.

Yes 65K is not 3 times better than a 7970 for sure or even twice as good as a 680 :(

No idea, whatever suits best.

At the moment no client for any distributed computing platform is optimised.

Or I might sell them and get 12 7970's for the same price, or 20 7950's and start solo LTC mining
