has anyone ever had this before?...

jesus Christ it's incredible, I've been introduced to it by my GF recently, the idea on paper sounds crazy but this is on the same level as awesomeness as bacon.

mate it does sound it... but it really is not horrible at all, i've been eating it on it's own all day but in wraps and sandwiches it's sooooo nice..

Reading about it now I can see its more of a fluffed up meat than something candy floss like with pork flavour

lol nah not sugary at all, completely savory. And no

the missus mum sent her some over from Taiwan. it's quite expensive over there and you can't really get it over here at all

They are delicious stuff.
Was brought up eating them - Pork is the best but chicken and fish floss are quite good too. I personally love some of those made from Thailand, they have them essentially compressed into little bite size sticks! Those are just to die for!

I always have this or the fish variant when eating Congee when I am ill as it adds a little more flavour and a little extra.

Some Chinese takeaways/restaurants will have the "fish floss" with the crispy fried seaweed dishes.

looks gooood. Even after a side of pork belly last night I could still chow down on that. I can't belive it's not available somewhere in the uk? Is it really that popular in asian cuisine? Have quite a few friends who breed pigs who are always looking for more ways to make money
