Agree. It's a royal pain in the a$$ without it, constantly trying to remember to keep an eye on your speed and then finding yourself doing 24-25 mph anywayCruise control is great for all of the 20mph zones introduced in Wales. It's a godsend.

19" was definitely an option. The defacto wheels of the 987 generation are the Spyder wheels - which are 19".the gen2 currently has 19” lobsters on it. I didn’t know if these are standard/option or were put on from another model?
My google-fu shows that 19” lobsters are a thing but not much about them being a cayman option.
I think I’ll spend a bit more to get into a 2010 gen2 with 80k on it.
£500 is a good price. I paid £450 for an OPC to retrofit cruise control to a 987 about 8 years ago. Thanks, chaps. Looks like CC can be retrofitted for around £500 at the dealers?
Had my offer accepted and should have it sorted by next weekend.
Quick summary is
2010 987.2 Cayman
75k miles
Options: Pretty minimal with heated seats, crest headrest, 19" lobsters
Work: Xpipes done, serviced before handover by local specialist, recent rear discs/pads done, 4 new tyres
That is gorgeous, the colour scheme works incredible well, plus it's a nice change from resale guards/silver/black.Deposit down on my first Porsche ever ... it wont float everyone's boat, but I am looking forward to collecting in a couple of weeks time
