Port Forwarding doesn't make a difference...

I have forwarded ports for Modern Warfare 2 and Steam, but they are still barely ever connecting properly...

Is there anything else I can do? My internet connection works perfectly fine.

Not quite sure why you need to port forward for these, you are not hosting anything are you??

Check MW2 is allowed in the Windows Firefall.

Also check that DONT ALLOW EXCEPTIONS is checked (If so, uncheck it) in the Windows Firewall.

Modern warfare 2 doesn't have dedicated servers, meaning clients have to host games themselves when playing, and when a host leaves the game makes someone else the host and then continues playing.
