Portable Camera for Holiday

Hi

I am going on holiday soon, and would like a portable camera (that would hopefully last me a few years). Been looking at the Canon Powershot G7X (found for £429.99) and Sony RX100III (£505.99 via a seller on eBay). Which of these would be better, or am I missing another model I should be looking at?

Panasonic LX100 is the same sort of camera but bigger sensor than both. Also a comparatively bright lens, though slightly smaller zoom.
Bit dearer though so depends on your budget.

I don't have one, but I've seen some excellent images the Sony RX100 (first edition).

Had a re-look at budget and can't afford them

What is thoughts of the Fuji XQ1, can get this for £220? Can't find any comments on this forum about it.

Don't know much about the XQ1 but look at the Canon Powershot S120 in that sort of price range.

For around £200 absolutely nothing comes near a Fuji XF1 @ £129.
