I'm after around a 1TB external HDD for backup of photos and videos.
This will be connected to the PC once a week or so at most when a new influx of files go on. It will then be removed and stored away from the PC just in case that bursts into flames or a lion eats it.......
Seeing loads of USB 3.0 HDDs around which must be better than the USB 2.0. The WD my passport essential SE seems to crop up a bit at about £90. Any thoughts on these or any others?
No real reason for small form factor, but why not. Makes it easier and neater to store elsewhere. Just after fast reliable transfer and storage.
