Have had a Sennheiser PX 100 for a few years now and it's been replaced a couple of times under the warranty. It's started going again now (no 'problems' as such, just wear and tear is begginning to show) and I thought it might be worth looking into something else before going for it again.

Going to be used mainly for travelling to and from places, so on the tube etc. Will very rarely be used at home. I don't want earphones cause they very annoyingly keep falling out. Something lightweight is a must and preferbally something that could fit in my pocket. I don't mind in canal etc.

Before the PX 100 I had the PX 20 and the Sony equivalent of PX 20, don't remember the model no. for that one and were happy with those as well. Ultra light weight so barely noticed wearing them.

Budget is about 20-30 quid I suppose but obviously the cheaper the better.

I love my porta pros in that price range, very light, great sound, been made for years. Have retro looks though.
I use them for running as well, they have an extra bit of "padding" that sits above the ears which spreads the load but I find it really helps keep them secure.

The famous south american river shop sells them and tbh I cant fault them at the price they sell them there. They also fold into a "ball" so great for travelling if you have a bag etc.
