Portable SSD - are these components suitable ?

Or any better alternatives ? My knowledge of SSDs and portable ones in particular is very low !

Yep, these will be fine. Icybox have been around a long time and make good products.

I'm not sure why you wouldn't just get a decent 128gb memory stick though.

These enclosures are great if you want to use large capacity drives as portable storage.

Thanks - didn't realise you could get memory sticks that large, will take a look !

They start around £10-15. If you pay towards £25-30 you can get USB 3.1 and speeds up to 300MB/s
