portable wifi (4g sim)

Thinking of purchasing one of these as my iphone 5 battery is knackered and barely lasts an hour on battery when used in hot spot mode.

are there any decent models out there or am i just better off replacing the battery/using a power bank.

also does anyone know what would have better cell reception out of an iphone 5 or a samsung galaxy s5 (for hotspot purposes)?

Get a new battery. It’ll improve the most things for the least money.

I used to have a TP-Link m7200, the battery in it wasn't great, a couple of hours. The new battery for your iPhone or even a cheap refurbished newer iphone would be best.

hmm never really thought about a referbished phone... might wait a little before making any changes... i can survive with a power bank for now
