Portal 2 - pretty damn funny?

stephen merchant did do a good jo bi must say, at first i was worried cause normally he;s so annoying I want to stick a screw driver in my ear, but compared to the original he does come across as a much more polished voice, and you can hear the original place holder voice didn't have much voice acting experience, and while sounded good, in voice terms, his acting ability would have severely let the game down.

I'm very happy to have been wrong about merchant.

Some of the humour seemed far to forced though, the whole potato glados thing was a bit hmmm good but i dunno off somehow.

Temptation got the better of me, as i was going to wait until it came down in price as steam games often do.... but im glad i didnt - had a lot of fun so far with it!

Sounds like Ricky Gervais? Get a new pair of ears. :/

as you can hear they sound nothing alike

I think the reason people say they sound alike is that they use very similar tone, pauses etc in their speech patterns. In case ppl didn't know they wrote the Office together and in the wheatley dialogue you can definitely hear a bit of "David Brent" coming through, not because of the accent etc but because of the phrasing used and so on.

To all the people saying they have finished the game and wont be picking it up again or have to wait untill portal 3
As with all Valve game's the downloadable content will be FREE!
More test chamber's and im sure there will be some kind of map making tool further down the line so we can make our own test's and challenge people (This would be amazing)

I think that most if not all the DLC will be free as they have an ingame shop to buy cosmetic's for multi player same as TF2 Hat's

And yea the game is a must by tbh I couldn't stop playing and after the campaign i went straight on to multi player LOVE portal!
