This is supposed to be out today, Steam says coming soon still, so I guess later this evening. Looks cool! Supports RTXIO as well but not sure which variant (equiv to DS 1.1/1.2? etc).

Driver is incompatible for me. I dont want to update from 536.98 to the latest. I just reverted to 535.98 from 536.40 due to (what seems like) huge latency issues with 536.
I'll see how I get on with Warzone 2 now im back on 535.98. If it starts running like crap again ill update to 536.98

It's got new levels and stuff inc NPCs that were not in the original Prelude.

Found out that RTSS overlay crashes it, so disabled RTSS in the game, which does mean no stats! But it looks good and runs good using DLSS Quality (manually set in RTX Remix):

Even though it's running at 100+fps though, it the mouse camera movement doesn't feel as smooth as Cyberpunk. I guess this is because the engine is running through a layer and it's OG Source under all the tech. Feels like how The Last of Us felt before they patched the mouse camera movement judder, remember that?

Yes the mouse camera feels horrible and even though I have turned off Motion Blur it still looks blurry when moving camera. Frame Generation didn't seem to do much except add some minor latency... :p

Given it's a mod, and the ifrst of its kind using RTX Remix in this way, I guess it's to be expected. Still, it's workable for sure though, just not the AAA experience one might expect. Although saying that, even AAA devs don't get it right until after months of patching has elapsed these days so.... What can ya do.

Edit*

I've figured out the mouse smoothness issue. Found that disabling Frame Gen (ALT+X then developer menu) results in smooth mouse camera movement. Obviously the fps drops to the 60s, but the mouse is smooth. Enabling FG again results in the slightly juddery mouse camera movement again.

I also noticed a single tearing line in the exact same place when FG is enabled. It's far below my monitor's refresh rate so isn't to do with that so has to be an artefact of FG in this mod.

Examples:

very strange, but I suspect this is all due to a combination of RTX Remis being used along with the base game being so old (DX9) and using the Vulkan wrapper etc.

Got RTSS working, had to set the game's hl2.exe to launch as administrator - That sorted it.

Looking at VRAM/RAM usage, it's barely pittance, I guess this is due to RTXIO working in realtime so at any given moment it's passing assets straight to the GPU for real time rendering rather than caching to VRAM/RAM. Quite interesting.
