PortForward - Help!

Hi all,

I’m having trouble trying to get Port Forwarding to work on my router does anyone know of any programs that does it all for you?

Freeware preferably

Netgear (DG834G) ive done everything Netgear and http://www.portforward.com say but im having no luck what so ever.

what would be the point in having something to do it automatically.

The router has a build in security function which needs you to port forward manually.

If you want your router will have a built in uPnP function that does it automatically but you need the application to support uPnP.

Log into your router and forward the ports to your inside address.
To find out this that go to start > run > type cmd > press enter > on command promt screen type ipconfig /all > press enter > the ip address is where you need to forward too. good luck.

Setting it up is easy, just set that IP address to allow specific port numbers. I had a 814 and took about 2 minutes.
