Ports blocked

Hey guys I am in desperate need of your help:
I am trying to open ports 7000-7999 for Age of Conan.

I have set a static IP for my computer and forwarded the ports aswell as allowing the program in windows firewall however the ports are still blocked for me.

Is there anything else I have to do to allow these ports? I have forwarded ports for other games with no problems.

I have tried connecting directly to my modem and disabling the firewall yet still get an error when connecting to their servers. I have tried testing port 7000 with http://canyouseeme.org/ and get Connection timed out error.

I am on Vista x64 and my ISP is Virgin Media - Is it possible that they are blocking these ports?

I don't know what the problem was but formatting and reinstalling Vista fixed it.

you reinstalled windows because of a port-forwarding issue? blimey :eek:

Reinstalling windows is sometimes easier than spending hours trying to figure out some obscure fault.

Given that if you have an nlite'd windows install disk and a seperate drive/partition for your games/apps you can reinstall windows and be completely up and running in less than an hour...
