Positioning a TRUE

Quick question really, would it be okay to have a TRUE facing up, blowing towards the large intake fan of my Zalman PSU, or would it push too much heat into it?

It's the only way I can install it in my case, but i'm a little worried about the heat it might be pushing into the PSU.

Any ideas if this would be okay?

Given the heat level of the air that came from my TRUE, I would say it is ok. Most power supplies have speed switching fans when they start to get a bit toasty reducing their internal temprature quite a bit.

Cheers guys, just a little concerned about it pushing too much heat into the PSU, thus ramping it's fan speed up and potentially damaging it.

I have the same issue with my Tuniq Tower, it can be placed one way with the fan drawing air in from the rear vent but it blocks half the PSU intake fan, I can turn it so the fan blows towards it which would give the PSU more breathing space but the heatsinks base then touches a couple of capacitors on the mobo and I'm not sure if this would cause a problem and didn't want to place it this way if it would cause a problem.

I have been running my TRUE in that orientation and haven't had any problems (with a Hiper Type R :o and OCZ modstream).

Although the air will be of higher temperature going into the PSU it will not be greatly higher to cause problems.

OT: how quiet do you find the Zalman?

I have yet to hear it, and I have had it running 2 8800GTX's in SLi. It is an awesome unit, really, really silent and runs nice and cool too.;)

EDIT: FWIW I came from a Tagan TG480-U01 and I couldn't hear it either. The biggest difference is that I have way more available power and the Zalman is a hell of a lot cooler running than the Tagan.
