Poss memory problem.....

My computer won't boot or gets into windows and locks on loading the start up programs if i have the memory in Dual channel but it works in single channel..

Its a Asus p5b with 1gb geil 6400C4 DDR2 RAM And a e6300

is this a mobo or a memory fault?

Is it RMA able??

Have you checked in you BIOS for your memory settings...

what would i be looking for/at?

i've set it too 1:1 with timings of 4-4-4-12 in CPU-Z

Had the same sort of problem as you. You need to loosen timings a bit, or set your clock speed down, or give them a little bit more voltage, or set a lower memory divider. First thing to try would be a bit more voltage though (0.1v should do it).

voltage is at its highest

and the ram is said to run dual channel @ 4-4-4-12 @ 800? so does that mean its faulty?
