cpu i9 12900
ram 32 gb ddr5
gpu gforce rtx 4090
mobo asus maximus z960 extreme
this all started when i tried to do a windows 11 update that failed, there was also around 5 other updates that included a mix of smaller updates , one of them being an asus bios update possibly, so the pc downloaded them and installed them. i restarted the pc as asked and bang the pc was giving me the error code FD which could be a few things, i tried pressing the button that clears the cmos but no luck.
when i turned my monitor on i got this message:
"warning!!
bios recovery mode has been detected.
please put the file asus.cap in to hdd or a removeable usb media device, and then reset your computer"
i then put the bios update on to a usb stick and pressed the bios button on the back of my pc/motherboard and nothing happened, i got a black screen and the motherboard bios button stayed a solid blue after it flashed indicating the bios update failed, the motherboard readout gave 2 different issues one attempt it said test nvram and the second was cpu.
does anyone have an idea what the issue is and how to fix it?
