Possible DC2 Purchase in 2-3 months..

There is not much room in the back of the FTO. I've sat in there a few times but you wouldnt want to go far. I enjoy driving, it's fun to thrash about. Easier to drive fast than the 530 as well being FWD, no need to think about whether the wheels are totally straight before you thrash it :p

The steering is a bit cack though, its very light.

Wouldnt want one myself as I can't be doing with the crap plastic interior but they are good cars - getting on a bit now though.

Is a pretty car. A Teg looks.. functional.

win.

Well if its track then its got to be a Teg

The FTO has no trick suspension setup like the teg has and it doesnt have a slipp diff either.

Petrol wise i would have thought the fto will like the juice being a V6??

Purposefull/functional > prettyness.

I don't dislike the looks of the FTO, but I don't particularly like them either. They can look very akward from a lot of angles, and the stock wheels look way too small, especially at the front, the wheelarch looks scared of the wheel.

The stock wheels are indeed absolutely awful. I shall concede that.

Remember I'm not saying OMFG LOLZ, *** FTO PWNZERS *** TEG LOLZ, merely that its worthy of consideration if you are not the sort of driver where the absolute handling polish of the Teg is your primary decision factor in a car.

Thanks Fox, only passenger in the back, usually is my gf's 6"4 brother, he'll have to be cramped if I get one :D

Just done a few Insurance checks on Bell, based on 10 month plan with 3 years no claims with £150 excess.

1995 FTO Import 2.0 (No available trim listed) £779.61

1998 FTO Import 2.0 (no available trim listed) £840.83

1998 Integra-R JDM - £1089.19

1998 Integra-R UKDM - £660.67  40% less than JDM!

(Just because) 1995 Honda CRX VTi 1.6 - £491.02

1998 Honda Prelude Motegi 2.0 - £593.33

2004 CTR UKDM - £759.50

Hmm, so JDM Integra, MUCH hotter in insurance price :(

Pretty similar to the Teg quotes I had really. Best for a UK car for me (so far) is Direct Line @ £720 I think - thats a 12month policy. (I also have 3NCB)

My renewal quote came through yesterday. Just under 450 quid all mods declared.

Getting older does have some advantages ;)
