Possible Defect With Ryzen 5700G APUs

May be EMI related noise. Is the screens powerboard integrated to the screen itself? Check for any inductors which may not be shielded

Using PCIE bifurcation has introduced a new problem - around 50% of the time when Windows has loaded to the lockscreen it will be in low resolution, after about 4 or 5 seconds the screen will go black for a couple of seconds and then load full resolution. When I log in some UI elements will be tiny, I have to log out and back in again for display scaling to work correctly.

I found another solution to the audio crackling that doesn't have this problem; set PCIEx16 configuration to Gen 2 in the BIOS, which will run at the same speed as Gen 3 with 8 lanes.

I'm having exactly the same problems with my 5600G and MSI B550-A-Pro motherboard.

I'm using an ASUS XONAR pci soundcard, but still getting electrical interefence and "harsh" audio.

I was also getting stuttering in games and random USB disconnects, although this seems to have reduced since I installed windows 11 and updated the BIOS.

Other symptoms are "flickering" at the top of the monitor screen while loading games.

I'm also facing the exact same problems with a Ryzen 5500, MSI B350M Gaming Pro, 2x8Gb Crucial 3200 CL16, RTX 3060 Ti, and both a PCIe Sound Blaster Z and a USB Realtek ALC4040.

The most frustrating part is that this crackling also causes channel swap with Creative products using the SoundCore3D chip.

The only solutions I have found to mitigate this problem are:
- Setting RAM speed to 2133MHz/1067 FCLK if your ram is in dual channel, or only using one stick in single channel.
- Setting GPU PCIe bandwidth to pcie 2.0 x16 or 3.0 x8.
- Running Prime95 with Large FFTs.

The easiest way I've found to trigger the issue is to play a video, or an audio file in ASIO if you have it, and scroll through a PDF with images in Edge at the same time.

I only started experiencing this problem after switching from an RX 590 to an RTX 3060 Ti. It also doesn't happen if I put my old 1600 AF back with the exact same configuration.

The most affected games for me are Rocket League, Genshin Impact and The Witcher 3 since the next gen update. It still happens in other games, but less frequently.

I think it's safe to say that it's not related to EMI at all, and could be related to a limitation of the Infinity Fabric/Memory controller on Cezanne chips.
