Possible explosion on bus in edinburgh? EDITED - Looks like the bus hit a crane

Just got caught up in a massive traffic jam and a colleague has just shown me a photo on his phone of whats possibly happened. (sadly no chance of uploading it at the moment)

Picture was of a double decker with its top deck at the rear violently removed. Took me over an hour to travel a normal 5 minute journey. The incident is the west end of princess street.

Anybody heard anything? Nothing on the news at the moment although tv crews were at the scene along with a lot of police.

No help here, sorry, just woken up, but I'll ask friends as they head back from lectures if they've heard of anything.
 
guy at my work walked past it this morning and he mentioned the bus had hit a crane

One person's been injured after a terrifying accident involving a double decker bus and a crane in the centre of Edinburgh. It happened at the West End of Princes Street at the junction with South Charlotte Street at a quarter to nine. It's understood a low-loader with a crane and the bus collided,ripping part of the double-deckers roof off. One woman suffered leg injuries and several others were treated for shock. The accident's caused widespread traffic disruption and local diversions have ben set-up. An investigation into the cause of the accident is underway

Tried to edit the title - look at the top post now.

Edited as soon as it appeared to have been a bus.
