Possible? Freeview Signal Quality related

No - unless you get the signal timings to exactly match (which you'll never manage), they will destructively interfere with each other.

Just get one good aerial and site it as best you can. I can recommend the X-pattern ones from Antiference.

Yep, combinging aerials can be done but it's very tricky. AS arcamalpha says Antiference make some good kit, Unix52's are excellent.

A Dat45 (made by Televes I think) effectively does combine 3 aerials, it's a bit of a beast though.

Where do you live, you shouldn't really need the sort of gains two aerials would give to receive Freeview. Most of England is now covered well.

Lol, well i live on the outskirts of london, closest antenna is crystal palace. But I am using an internal aerial.

EDIT:

Green arrow is crystal palace, blue arrow is me.

Just use one good aerial tbh.

Depending on your exact location you may be able to even get away with an attic aerial as Crystal Palace is a powerful transmitter.

Well its supposed to be a digital internal aerial, quite powerful according to the man. 40dB or something like that.

To see where i am in regards to crystal palace see my edit in the post above.

Perhaps go and spend another £40 on the 60db SUPER HIGH GAIN ones from Comet. Ask the sales assistant first though, because they always know whether it will work perfectly or not.

Amplified antenna rarely if ever give as good a picture quality as a proper antenna. 40dB amplification is fine, but if your getting a poor quality signal, all the amplifier does is give you a stronger poor quality signal.

Digital signals degrade just like analog signals, signal reflections cause ghosting on analog signals, but on digital signals they cause datastream corruption. Amplifying a corrupted signal wont 'fix' it. Try moving it around, turn it in different directions to try and reduce the reflections. If it doesnt work, then you may need a more accuratly aligned loft, or even roof antenna.

Well ok, I think i have a pretty stong aerial in the loft, but the problem is that its being used for the main tv downstairs.

Can i use this aerial on both set top boxes. Should i get some sort of amplifier for it to slit the signal?

Thanks.

EDIT:

If I put another aerial up there in *** loft, would it cause interference between the two?
