Possible gpu problem?

Posting this here as i think its more gpu related.
Cpu/ram will pass any stress program, linX, prime, memtest etc

Problem i'm having is when playing bf3 64mp, so lots going on. After about an hour the game will lockup, sometimes with a loud stuttering noise, then the screen will go red and i have to do a hard reset.
Gpu clocks are at 1130/1580 and i'm on windows 8

Any ideas??

possible overclock problem
reduce the gpu and cpu overclock a tad.

Had similar issues and it was caused by pushing my RAM too far

What got me though, they were the same settings I'd used on win 7 for eons

That my friend is an unstable cpu/memory clock. I've had the same red screen myself, turned out my cpu i thought was stable actually wasn't. Add a voltage bump or two and report back.

If that doesn't work then Scotty might be right, could be the memory. I'm sure mine was the cpu though!

thx guys, will try a few combo's
may reduce cpu/ram a bit for gaming and see what happens, do think win 8 needs to mature some more yet, its not very forgiving, finding it either works or it dosn't, theres not much inbetween
