Hi all,
I've bought a new monitor to act as my second one purely for movies/youtube and general internet browsing.
My problem is that I have noticed the new monitor screen horizontally tearing in on spot, which appears about 2 inches down from the top of the monitor. This is the only place that it happens and is only noticeable when playing a video.
I've tried:
Running the monitor on its own, without the second screen.
Enabling V-sync
Different resolutions
Since it is still tearing when it is plugged in by itself I was wondering if this is actually a hardware fault with the monitor or if there may be a fix for this.
Specs-
BenQ PD2700Q 27 Inch 1440p (new one)
Acer 25inch 1080p 144hz
rtx 2070
Windows 7
Thank you for any assistance,
Ben
