Possible IP35 Pro Problem

Just to resurrect this one, I rma'd my board back to Oc. Turned out it was faulty, but I haven't been told what the fault was. Recieved my replacement board yesterday, fitted it last night and all appears well at the moment.

What o/s are you running. I've uninstalled uGuru on my Vista 64 Ultimate, Abit IP35 Pro, bios v11, coz it causes my system to crash on startup.

XP Pro SP2.

Haven't installed the windows uGuru utility yet but I think that the v14 bios update solves the crashing issue that I experienced with it. Don't know if this will also apply to Vista users however.

Did you install 3.104 from the web?
if you did then use 3.105 from the CD.

btw, NewFlesh, have a squint on the abit-usa forum Master Of None over there is usually very good with these things. Bear in mind, I think he's U.S. based, so there can be a delay sometimes.

[edit] oh, and he'll have you removing your cmos battery in no time, but he gets results [/edit]

[grovelling edit] sorry, mate. I see you've actually received your replacement, helps to actually read the thread I s'pose. [/edit]
