I recently updated to windows 8.1 and only just noticed my memory in system properties showing 8.00GB (7.90 usable) cant remember seeing that before, is this unusual as I can't think of anything it would be needing extra memory for.
Also maybe a coincidence, I have had problems today trying to install the latest beta Ati drivers, had a few crashes and had to reboot.
Edit: Now its gone down to 6.67gb usable.
Updated bios and loaded defaults but its all showing ok in bios.
