I was lucky enough to purchase the last of this particular monitor at OcUK. I love the monitor, but the last couple of days have made me think there might be a problem with it. I sit about two and a half feet away from the monitor, but the buzz of the PSU (I'm guessing) has gradually been getting louder.

It only really becomes irritating if I'm surfing/typing etc. when it's quiet. If this is normal for a monitor/ the 24WMGGX3 then I can accept it? Is it also normal for the buzz to alternate when I scroll down a page/refresh the page? I think it is the irregular, alternating buzz that is difficult to grow accustomed to. The fact that it has been gradually growing in terms of noise levels, plus the now alternating buzz, has made me consider otherwise? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Another strange thing has just happened . Whenever I move the mouse arrow there is a high pitched buzzing noise. If I constantly move the arrow, then there is a constant buzz, whilst if I move it in different directions it alternates from off to on. :(.

:o Phew, at least the mouse pointer problem is coming from my speakers.

It's probably your graphics card interfering with your sound card (You move the mouse, the graphics card redraws the screen, and you hear the buzzing). The inside of PCs is a very noisy place in terms of EMI. If you have your monitor's speakers connected to the front panel of the PC's case it can often be even worse. You can get shielded sound cards, but they tend to be more expensive.

Was just about to chip in that I had this exact same problem with a Sharp Monitor many moon's ago and it drove me insane trying to figure out what it was :) lol

Glad you got it sorted now though and it was exactly the way I sorted mine. Turned monitor speakers down to 0 and just used my external speakers :D
