Possible overheating problem ?

A few months ago I replaced an Intel E6600 for an E8500 in my pc with no overclocking. Recently it has started to blue screen when Im playing games. According to the error message from Microsoft its a driver problem but I have reinstalled my chipset drivers and updated my graphics drivers with no joy. Could it be overheating while under load or is it more likely to be a driver as the message suggests? It didnt crash during Bio Shock 2 but more recently with 2 games which require me to be logged into steam it does. Maybe a cable modem issue ?

Any ideas ?

Thanks

Check gpu temps too :)
Something like rivatuner is good as you can get onscreen temps whilst gaming so you can keep an eye on them.

Download and run mem test, this will test your ram for any errors and show up hopefully.
