Possible problem with new system build

Hi All,

I recently built a new system, with a Hiper 580X modular PSU. And everytime I start it up the PSU powers up for 1-2seconds then stops (all is as thought the PC is powered off) then it starts up again and continues to boot and everything runs fine.

I've never had a system do this to me before, is it a trait of the PSU or is it a sign of something incorrect/wrong i nthe setup or settings of the PC?

Sounds like PSU - are there any beeps from the mobo in this time?

PSU. Hipers are very prone to general failure/pooness.

There are no beeps i dont think.I'm at wrk atm postin from my mobile so i'll check when i get home. Do u think i should contact ocuk or hiper?

Standard procedure is to email Hiper for a replacement.

This is unreal,

Its literally the 6th seperate thread i have seen with a PSU problem that has been related to a 580w Type R Hiper.

I had one, and feel for you. I got it exchanged for a Artic 600w. But i do want to get something reliable.
